SMS alerts (Pro & Team plans)

SMS alerts send a text message to your phone when a monitor goes down or recovers. SMS alerts are available on Pro and Team plans only.

Supported countries

SMS alerts are currently supported for phone numbers in the following countries:

If your number is in a different country, SMS alerts will not be delivered. Use email or Slack alerts instead.

How to set up SMS alerts

1. Open the monitor form.
2. Enter your phone number in the SMS phone number field using international format — include the country code with a leading +, followed by the number with no spaces or dashes. For example: +61412345678 (Australia), +447911123456 (UK), or +12025551234 (USA).
3. Save the monitor.

SMS quota

Each plan includes a monthly SMS allowance. Both down alerts and recovery alerts count toward this quota.

The quota resets on the first day of each calendar month. If you reach your quota, SMS alerts stop for the remainder of the month — email and Slack alerts continue to work normally.
