Setting up a public status page
Every monitor can have a public status page — a shareable web page that shows the current status and uptime history for that service. You can share this link with your customers so they can check the status themselves without needing to contact you.
How to enable a public status page
- Open the monitor you want to share (click it on the dashboard).
- Click Edit.
- In the Public status page slug field, enter a short, URL-friendly name — for example,
my-websiteorpayment-api. - Click Save monitor.
The status page is immediately live at https://alive24x7.com/status/your-slug. No login is required to view it.
What the status page shows
- Current status (UP or DOWN)
- Uptime percentage over the last 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days
- Response time from the most recent check
- A visual history of recent checks
The status page does not show your alert configuration, team members, or any account details — only the public uptime data for that specific monitor.
Removing a status page
To take a status page offline, edit the monitor and clear the slug field, then save. The page will no longer be accessible.
