I am not receiving alert emails

If your monitor is showing DOWN but you have not received an email alert, work through the following checks.

Check your spam or junk folder

Alert emails sometimes end up in spam. Check your spam or junk folder for emails from 24x7@bissano.com.au. If you find them there, mark them as "not spam" and add the address to your contacts or safe senders list.

Check the email address on the monitor

Open the monitor's edit form and confirm the Alert email field contains the correct email address. It is easy to have a typo.

Alive24x7 only sends one alert per outage

If the monitor went DOWN and you received one alert, but then it went DOWN again later and you received nothing, check whether the monitor actually recovered in between. Alive24x7 sends one alert when the monitor first goes DOWN and one recovery alert when it comes back UP. If the monitor never recovered, no second down alert is sent.

Your account may be on an expired trial

If your trial has expired, all monitors are paused and no alerts are sent. Go to the Billing page to check your account status.
